available.
All your
food will be prepared especially for you, including breakfast in bed if
you like.
Your bed
will be adjusted to the firmness or softness you desire.
The
temperature of your room and private bath will be adjusted to your
needs.
And,
you may have a soothing aromatherapy back rub before you go to sleep.
The
Jacuzzi will be available to you at all times, at the warmth you wish.
You can have the privacy to use the spa in complete comfort, with stacks
of warm fresh soft towels.
You will
receive a ‘Possibilities’ form to fill out for all the things you wish
to experience for yourself, with estimated times. Flexibility will allow
you to have as much or as little program content as you desire. ‘Pure
Attention’ is time for you to express yourself and be listened to and
heard.
A second
list of nursing treatments, dietary requirements and exercises will be
ordered by your health care provider. All foods will be Organic, with
our own fresh herbs.
Physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual exercises will be especially designed,
just for you.
For longer
stays, special hiking trails and other activities are available, such as
a day-trip to Idyllwild.

Massage and Self Massage
An example of Self Massage is the work done with patients who have
beginning stages of diabetes, where it helps to prevent complications in
the feet such as pain from peripheral neuropathy.
Nutrition
is
very important for those who are desirous of the highest health.
Whether for specific conditions or for specific goals, nutrition is as
important as medicines for many people. Aided by computer
programs, the diet which is just right for this specific patient will be
developed.
Exercise
is also vital for health.
Even those who are recovering from severe conditions can exercise
certain portions of their body while lying in bed, or sitting up in a
chair. Deep breathing exercises the lungs and torso. Leg
exercises can help prevent deep vein thromboses.
Prayer Therapy
is part
of any holistic program. No matter what religion one follows,
there is almost always opportunity for deepening the spiritual
dimensions. Spiritual Mind Treatment is a specific form of
affirmative prayer to assist healing and developing a more conscious and
full life.
Sand Tray
Therapy
is a
method of self-discovery using three-dimensional figures in a tray
filled with sand. It is believed that creating a scenario in the
sand gives one an out-picturing of the contents of the subconscious and
when one changes the positioning and the figures in the scenario, the
mind is also effectively changed.

The fees charged
vary with the services being performed. They are in alignment
with those charged by area agencies that provide similar services.
In some cases, requirements of greater expertise or responsibilities
of the work of Maureen Christopher makes higher fees necessary.
An agreement will be drawn up which specifies all work to be done and
charges to be paid. Because "Holistic Home Health" is the
contractor, the client will not have to deal with deductions,
insurance, or other costs. There is no charge for telephone
calls under 5 minutes, nor for mileage under 10 miles.
Experience:
Maureen
Christopher has had extensive experience in Home Care, working with
such conditions as brain injury, depression, post-surgery, metabolic
disorders, stroke, cancer, and many more. She has cared for some
families for as long as 2 years. Others have been just a few
visits. In addition to training as a Certified Nursing Assistant
and as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, she has also had over twenty-five years
experience offering spiritual support and counseling in the
realms of mind-body-spirit training and practice. A full resume'
of pertinent training, certifications, and education will be provided
to all clients who request it.
