The Spirit of My Ministry
"You are the light of the world.
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life."In addition to Holistic Health care I am also an Ordained Minister. I will do visits with the sick and dying, laying-on-hands healing prayer, weddings, naming ceremonies, and funerals. I will hear confessions and inventories. I have been a Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Counselor for the last few years.
My personal history includes a mostly-Methodist upbringing. I had many mystical experiences over the years. Then, studying Religious Studies at San Bernardino Valley College and University of California, Riverside, I found truth in all religious -- if I kept focused on the mystical center of every religion.
I also studied hypnosis, counseling, and other helping disciplines. After leaving the university, I began to study Religious Science, which is primarily philosophy in a spiritual mode.
After 20 years in the ministry, I found that my childhood dream of being a nurse became a new possibility, so I included the care of the physical body with the care of the spiritual. 'Physical' includes the very fine energy that is commonly called Prana.
