Wonder Woman is the archetypal symbol I use for the Spirit within me.  She and I were both born/created in 1941.  As a girl I read the comic books showing a powerful and feminine protector of others.  (Sometimes, I think that I over-did the protector role.) 

The Breast Cancer was removed surgically in January, but I still chose to have the Radiation in order to prevent having a recurrence.  I have put different stickers of Wonder Woman in and on my book in which I keep track of all my doctors and treatments.  She is my Amazon reminder to be strong and to rise above the minor problems I may encounter.  In her invisible airplane, Wonder Woman can go anywhere, and so I direct the radiation rays to seek out and destroy any remaining cancer cells.

With her bracelets that can repel bullets, Wonder Woman can also protect my healthy cells and repel the rays that might harm them.  One of her tools is the golden lasso, which forces anyone she loops it around to tell the truth.  I mentally put that lasso around myself and everyone around me every time I have a treatment or consultation.  I want to hear all the truth and only the truth, and I do not want to deny any useful truth.

There are traditions about Amazons, one of which is that they removed one breast in order to be able to shoot their arrows from their bows easily.  Yet, Wonder Woman still has both of her breasts and is an image of health and vitality.
